Aki has a couple of small scars on her fingers from helping to build new equipment for the department, but other than that, she has none.

A wine of sorts, more of a liquor, speciality of Bhujerba, city of the skies.

“Hm.” Aki wrinkled her nose, again not taking well to the man’s seemingly flirtatious disposition. Thankfully, even though she was perfectly well-equipped to simply say “no” and leave it, Aki had an excuse - “I have a long day in the lab tomorrow. I’ll pass.”

2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?

Aki’s haircut is very striking, as is her lean frame. Some are surprised that someone who appears to be so weak and flimsy goes out on so many excursions out of Barrier Cities, but Aki’s not quite as weak as she looks.

(Partially headcanon)

Aki’s parents passed away when she was very young, so she was never able to have a conventional relationship with them. However, she quickly gravitated towards her father’s occupational field, biology, and as her mother had worked in sustainable energy research, she always held a soft spot for that. She was able to combine these two passions when she began working for Dr Sid.

Aki raised an eyebrow, feeling that such a comment in such a strange new place as this was not exactly the best way to relax her. “You can keep the physical examinations for more relevant circumstances.” Aki said, then wrinkled her nose as she realised that this could be taken in the wrong light.

The sky pirate couldn’t help but cross his arms and eye the woman over once more.

“Oh? I’d say it always is necesarry to ‘examine’ a strangers ‘physical appearance’.”, he retorted, still trying to sound at least a bit nicely, “Is there at least a name one might call you, dear lady?”

“Perhaps for reasons of science or self-defense, I imagine so, but I don’t quite perceive those intentions here.” Aki responded, somewhat acerbically. “You can call me Dr Ross.”

Promotional posters I used to see a lot of back in 2001. Almost weird how these disappeared but you could find every other foreign poster variation for this film :/.
